We're Working! - 2010

2010 -Activities conducted so far:-

January:
  • Initiated a Rolling Trophy  for best student in Maths in the 10th Std
 March:
  • Initiated  Spoken English classes at Lokhandwala garden

    April: 
    • Puppet making workshop
        June:
        • Sponsored text books for students of 9th Std
        • Donated uniforms for students of 8th Std
        July:
        • Sponsored text books for few students of the Spoken English class
        • Scholarship to 35 students across 3 BMC schools
        • Donated uniforms to 25 students from 2 BMC schools

        • Donated 106 schools bags to students of 8th Std
        • Donated 636 notebooks to students of 8th Std
        • Donated compass boxes to 106 students of 8th Std
        • Distributed mithai to 1300 students of a BMC school
        August:
        • Donated umbrellas & distributed cake for 25 students from the Foundation-initiated Spoken English Class at Lokhandwala Garden
        • Rolling Trophies for the top scoring girl and boy in 10th Std Board, plus a cash prize of Rs 1,000/- each.

        • Distribution of school bags, compass boxes, stationery & water bottles to students of the Foundation-initiated Spoken English class in Lokhandwala Garden
        • Fund raising exhibition of products designed & made by the volunteers of the Foundation
        • Volunteer recruitment at the NGO fair, Jaihind College
        • Initiated embroidery classes for girls as part of vocational guidance
        September: 
        • Initiated Spoken English classes at a Balvadi in Oshiwara

            •   Joy of Giving week - Crafts Bazaar at Marico Industries Andheri

             
            October:
            • Joy of Giving week - Crafts Bazaar at Marico Industries Bandra
            • Drawing competition at Lokhandwala Garden
            • Distributed 150 bedsheets at Bal Bhavan orphanage
            • Fund raising exhibition at Emirates office, Malad
            • Fund raising exhibition at Irfans Dance Academy, Shastri Ngr

            • TF students participating in the Sykz Marathon 

            • Started English coaching for Class X students

                Earlier Efforts - 2009

                Activities conducted while the organisation was being registered:-
                • Served lunch, donated stationery, soaps, clothes and TB medicines for 150 girls in Andheri.
                • Donated stationery to a YMCA program for 64 boys.
                • Donated snacks and sweets for a program for 150 girls in Andheri.
                • Served meals at a Kerala-based orphanage for 150 boys.
